12WC: Week 6

12WC: Week 6

How time flies, we are in week 6 of the 12 weeks challenge and I believe everyone is getting along well. At least we are not starving (am hoping no one is), there are so much food to choose from, the only thing is eating in moderation (portion control).

Lets keep the flag flying, we’re half way down the challenge and results are seriously coming in. Weight loss is really simple, the most difficult part is changing those habits that we are used to. It was¬†difficult for me to beat my love for rice and inactive lifestyle, with time I was able to manage it and continuously¬†improving. Commitment and discipline are important not just in weight loss but in achieving anything in life.

I tend to ask myself Why was I obese in the first place?
Simple Answer: ¬†Overeating, Inactive lifestyle, lack of information….the list goes on but these are the major reason why I was obese. Most times we live in denial, telling others and ourselves that we don’t eat much while in reality we eat none stop or most times, eating the wrong food. The reason some people are obese might be different, ¬†maybe due to the medications they are taking or illness (hormonal issues) etc.

Lets keep going, lets also cultivate the habit of reading and carrying out research on health and food etc, don’t just take up what someone said, dig deeper. Lets acquire more knowledge, support each other and beat obesity for good.

We can’t quit now, we have to finish this and remain healthy ………………xoxo
