Habit Challenge WEEK 4: Portion Control

It’s the week 4 of the HABIT CHALLENGE.

How are you getting on? You don’t have to be perfect just keep on trying and progressing.This week is all about portion sizes, it’s not easy but gradually you can get through. Before my weight loss, I ate large portions of anything. But when I reduced my portions, I saw changes in my weight and skin. Portion control is very important both for those trying to lose, gain weight or maintain their weight. Gradually start by adjusting the quantity you eat or change the size of your plate.

Use smaller plate, eat your snack on a plate, avoid eating from snack packs. Try eating one serving instead of five (5) servings.  Instead of eating 5 cookies, eat one serving which is normally 1 or 2 cookies (read food label to be sure). Don’t try to move from eating huge portions of fast food to eating salad, you might enter depression mood, gradually change it. Portion your meals the way you will eat them. When eating out,  if the meal is much divide into 2 parts and ask for takeaway pack.
